You can’t go wrong with these super crispy and very delicious Chipsticks Fish Goujons.
A great recipe for the kids to get involved in making and in just a few steps you can have them on the table in just 20 minutes!
Serves 4
Ingredients
500g boneless white fish fillets, such as cod or haddock
40g plain flour
2 eggs, beaten
100g Chipsticks, crushed into small crumbs
Oil spray
Method
Cut the fish into finger-sized strips and pat dry with kitchen paper.
Put the flour, beaten eggs and crushed Chipsticks in three separate bowls.
Coat each strip in flour, dip it in egg, then press it into the Chipstick crumbs until covered.
Lightly spray the goujons with oil. Cook in a preheated air fryer at 190°C for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
Cook in batches if needed, leaving space around each goujon so the coating crisps up.
Oven option: Place on a lined baking tray, spray lightly with oil and bake at 200°C (180°C fan) for 15–18 minutes, turning halfway through.
